Charles is a one of a kind artist doll created by Dianne Adam, signed and dated. His purple plaid cloth body has been painted olive green around the face and neck with a hand painted collar, bowtie and lapels. A variety of fabrics, buttons, lace and trims are used in making the clothes. The old baby shoes are from a favorite flea market find. The upper legs are slightly stuffed to make him very pose-able.

The face and hands are sculpted and cast in marble resin. Charles is 23 inches tall. A note to collectors of Dianne Adam dolls: Charles is the large size doll, the same size as Mattie and Lucy, 23 tall.
