Fab 16 Super Soft Gold Mohair Barricane Bear, OOAK, Aubrey Hembury 2015. This is the most handsome and cute Barricane Bear by artist Rachel Ward. And he is from 2015.
Older bears are getting hard to find, and he has a distinctive gentle and soft expression - he really is a lovely boy! Made from a superb quality gold silky mohair, giving him a very soft feel - a squidgy tummy - very cuddly! He is fully jointed, stitched wool felt paws, a brown stitched nose, and beautiful black glass eyes. He has his tags, and a brown silk bow.
He also wears a waistcoat occasionally - not sure I still have the daffodil pin which I put on him in the photo - will have a look! He is quite unique and in beautiful condition, only ever displayed.
