OOAK 22 Artist Mohair Growler Bear Grenadier From Lesley & The Bears

  

This is Grenadier and he is one of my beautiful one of a kind bears that I have designed and lovingly hand crafted from a time when bears were our very best friends. Grenadier is a very grand statement bear who is renowned for his gentle nature.

Grenadier weighs a rather respectable 2.32 kgs and is 22 inches high from his paws to his ears and sits at 15 inches. Grenadier really is a very special and endearing bear who is reminiscent of much loved bears from a time long since forgotten. I have given Grenadier original black Victorian boot button.

Eyes which is in keeping with traditional bears. He has a traditional centre seam head and his nose I have carefully needle felted in finest black merino wool tips finished with.

Subtle hand shading to his muzzle bringing to life this rather grand bear. I have designed created and hand crafted Grenadier from my finest distressed old gold English mohair which is shot through with tiny black hairs making him wonderfully cuddle soft and beautifully textured. Has a traditional hump a very plump little tummy a tension growler and long hockey stick style arms of which I have nicely weighted enabling him to hug you when he is picked up. His paws and pads I have created from my beautiful glossy vintage white gold English cotton velvet. He is traditionally five way jointed with very substantial nut & bolt joints to his legs.

E is firmly stuffed and very heavily weighted with traditional steel shot. Grenadier is one of only one of his kind and he as do all of my bears. Have my sewn in cloth tag of authenticity. Everything from designing Grenadier to hand crafting him has taken many hours and he is in keeping with very traditional hugs from a time long since passed.
