Original Lucille Garrard Artist Doll Susie With Hand Painted Blue Eyes & Strawberry Blonde Human Hair Wig. Susie is 14 (35cm) With A Porcelain Head & Hands. & Cloth Body with Wire Armatures. She is a limited edition 17/100 made. She is complete & she comes with her hand signed tag.

Susie was made by the late master artist Lucille Garrard. Lucille became a doll sculptor after retiring from teaching and in 1983 was the president of UFDA, United Federation of Doll Artists. Garrard passed away in 2012. Susie was created in 1981. She is in excellent pre-owned condition. Her porcelain is perfect she has no breaks or repairs. She has all her fingers. Her clothing is clean with nor stains or odors. This sweet little girl is is representing a 6 or 7 year old. I say this because she is missing her front teeth like many kids this age. Susie is the prefect cabinet size at 14 inches 35cm. She has wonderfully painted blue eyes & lashes.

She has long human hair strawberry b londe hair. Her hand painted face paint is lovely. Susie wears a white cotton dress, bloomers & matching hat. Her clothing is white rose colored print & accented with lace. On her legs she wears white stockings & black handmade shoes.

She can be a standing with a stand or sitting doll. This is an amazing opportunity to own this piece of a doll masters art. She is a lovely doll, made by hand of the finest materials.
