Primitive Folk Art Blue Bird Angel Doll OOAK Handmade in America

This lovely Blue Bird Angel doll is a one of a kind doll designed and created by me. She measures 28 tall from the tip of her wings to her toes. Her wing span is 11.5 wide and are made from painted and stiffened cotton fabric that I decorated with sparkly mica flakes. Ive also added a loop for hanging if desired. I've hand painted her muslin arms, legs, head and face using acrylics and pencils, then sealed it to prevent fading.

Blue Bird Angel has a full head of hair made from blonde wool roving that Ive needle felted in place to form two braids on either side of her head. Ive topped her head with a silver headband and ribbon rosettes.

She has a gorgeous blue cotton layered dress with matching pantaloons that Ive trimmed with vintage style silver tinsel. Ive trimmed her sleeves and bodice with cotton lace and added a silk ribbon bow with a vintage style key attached. She has hand painted shoes embellished with ivory ribbon and adorable paper roses. Finally, Ive given this lovely angel a twig birds nest with a tiny bird nestled inside. Blue Bird Angel is a 2019 Back in the Day Originals OOAK Dolls.

She will come to you signed and carefully packaged, with her own Certificate of Authenticity. Much attention and heart go into each doll I create. I fuss over details, to bring you my best work!
