Evenly weighted to approx 4lbs (1.8kg). Full arms and legs with a soft cloth body. Jasmine has been created from the Jasmine sculpt by Wendy Dickinson.

I have painted Jasmine over several weeks since Christmas and finally got round to finishing her last week, I have used many thin layers of genesis heat set paints to build up detailed skin tones, she has tipped and glossed nails, She has painted eyebrows and varnished lips to give the impression of moisture. I have also given her textured skin using "I art Dewy skin".

I have hand rooted Baby Jasmines hair with a beautiful baby brown by "loutrais mohair" from France, this hair is so lovely and soft and my absolute favourite to root with. I have directionally rooted her hair, this means it should be easy to keep the style and design I have given her. I have sealed her hair inside with a craft glue so if you are gentle with her hair you will be able to wash it and gently brush it but you must be careful.

Jasmine is a sleeping baby and has her eyes closed I have hand rooted her eyelashes with the same colour and secured them with a craft glue. I have evenly weighted Jasmine to approximately 4lbs using crushed glass and fibre fill, Jasmine has a floppy head that will need supporting when she is picked up. Her arms and legs are full length and I have given Her a quality fully loading body, meaning her limbs are attached directly to her body making it more natural for her to wear sleeveless dresses, I have allowed her limbs and head to move around for positioning. You must hold Jasmine like a real baby, supporting her when picking her up, scooping her up under her arm pits and supporting her head and bottom as you would a real newborn baby. I have fitted a magnet inside her head to enable her to hold her magnetic dummy/pacifier to her mouth.

(magnetic dummies are unsafe around pacemakers, if you would like this removed, please message me). I design my dolls to be great for cuddling and holding. Jasmine is a lovely newborn size and great for the feeing of rocking a baby in your arms. If considering adopting for a younger collector please keep in mind that Jasmine is an art dolls and contains small parts She must be handled correctly.
