1890-1900 Original Sketch Signed By Famous Artist Unknown Bathhouse Pic. OOAK

  
This is a picture that was given to me by a lady I worked for years ago. She passed away several years ago at the age of 99. The picture was of her mother. Her family was one of the early settlers of California. They were very wealthy and traveled quite a bit. She is the one who told me this was supposed to be a famous artist but I can not remember who. And I can not read it clearly. I believe the artist is in the picture along with the mother, and I'm not sure who else. She never said one was her father??

Because the inscription reads to her mother with a lot of unmentionable things. That is what I know about this piece. I did a close up of the signature as someone may know more than me.
