Here is a solid 14k yellow gold ring that I made for myself about 13 years ago. It is set with a phenomenal Australian Boulder Opal.

I saved this particular stone for myself as I had never seen one remotely similar to it. To me, it looks like a sunrise in a misty forest... I loved scenic opals and had set a lot of the over the years.

Fabulous red fire with greens, blues, pink. The stone is 5/8 square. The ring is size 7, and the band is 3/8 wide including the bumps. I never polished the ring after constructing it, so it has a matte finish, but could certainly be polished if you prefer it. One of a kind ring band and stone.
