Lovely old-timey bear and hard to find work from German artist Dorothea Bartels (Theabar). Distressed and disheveled slightly sparse brown mohair. Delightful "Burlap"-like backing which shows inside his ears as well. Long arms with curved/bent upper paws and bent lower paws. Elongate muzzle with black embroidered nose. Foot embroidered with bear image and has signature. Note: Reginald is in the condition I received him in, from top bear store the former Bear Paths. I know he was made to look old and "used".

He is in good, but perhaps, not "perfect". Condition- though he may have been designed like this. This is the only one of. Dorothea's bears I had/have seen so I can't compare it to her other work.

He is a charming bear as he is. His signed tag has a very slight curve/bend.
