This listing is for an absolutely gorgeous basswood shoulder head Hitty who is still waiting for a cloth body. I think her face is quite possibly the most beautiful Hitty face April Queen has ever carved. I feel so guilty for having kept her from having a life among other Hittys. She most certainly deserves an active role and place in the Hitty world.

April Queen carved this stunning creation. In the winter of 2012/2013. Carved from quality basswood and. Powdered pigment was used for blush before she was finished with wood sealer. The head and shoulders stand 1 3/4" H; the shoulder width is 1" W.

She is sized appropriately to become a traditional 6 1/4 tall Hitty doll when completed. On her shoulders, dated "1-10-13" and numbered.
