This listing is for one-of-a-kind "OOAK, " vintage artist dolls by Irene Rama Graham, c. This coordinating set is similar to pieces from Graham's "Fairy People" collection. This series consists of magical creatures, mostly gnomes, elves, and fairies, of Scottish descent. These folk dolls are composed of cast material or the same textured fabric used by physicians to cast broken bones.

Each piece's head, hands, and feet are composed of this material, while the dolls also possess stuffed bodies. Graham masterfully sculpted and subsequently hand-painted these dolls to encompass a magical, lifelike realism. Each OOAK doll possesses dark glass eyes, rosy cheeks, mischievous expressions, and textured hands. The unique sculpt on these expressive pieces is just astonishing.

Each doll also dons a genuine white mohair wig. This pair's folk costumes are entirely handmade by Graham. Composed of fine fabrics, including felt, linen, and velour, these ensembles illustrate Graham's incredible prowess in designing costumes as well. The juxtaposition of the cherry red, navy blue, and white fabrics is incredibly striking.

The man dons a linen shirt with ruffled cuffs and a lace cravat beneath a felt vest decorated with brass buttons. He also wears a coordinating velour hat and pants, along with grey shoes composed of cast material.

The woman is depicted in a velour dress with ties over a long sleeves lace top. Her dress is accessorized with a kerchief scarf, and cast material shoes. Excellent, preowned condition with no chips, cracks, or cosmetic damage to these OOAK dolls.
