Lovely one of a Kind Mohair Artist Bear by Daniela Melse

  
IntroducingDAVE, a one of a kind bear from the workshop of the outstanding bear artist, Daniela Melse of Germany. He is 15 1/2inches long, filled with wood wool and slightly weighted.

He is loosely stuffed to emulate that adorable antique bear slouch that bear lovers enjoy. His mohair is distressed to resemble an antique bear. His facial features are incredibly sweet, and he has that magical trick of seemingly looking right at you. My home is a non-smoking home, so he has no odors, and I see no damage.

His paw pads are of a linen/silk mixture, not the traditional wool felt. There is a tiny pale brown blotch (maybe 1/3 inch long) on his left foot pad. Looks to me like ink used for distressing the bear that came from an errant paint brush. Please see the last photo.
