OOAK Fully Repainted Barbie Kira Kayla Asian doll head Catherine Zeta Jones

Sale is for the doll head only. The tan body I used does not match her skin tone and is included in photos only for reference.

Though not originally intended, there is something about the repaint that is reminiscent of Catherine Zeta Jones. Original factory paint was completely removed with acetone/nail polish remover, after which her head was thoroughly washed with soap and water to clean any residue of the remover. Her hair was shampooed and conditioned. The face required many hours to repaint and was done so with high quality watercolor pencils and acrylic paint.

Eyes and lips were then sealed with an artist quality combination (non-sticky) of matte, satin, and gloss. Her eye whites and irises have a gloss sealant, so that they have a glassy reflection.
