I bought this cute Griffin (a mythological creature with a lion's body and tail and an eagle's head) from a ooak artist in 2015. Most of her body is made of recycled material. Her body is stuffed and made of faux fur, multicolored.
Her wings are real, cleaned, and sanitized and meticulously woven into the Griffin's fur. She has some movement in her main body and her wings can bend gently to and fro and up and down. Her eagle's beak is hard plastic and she has bright black eyes. Her claws (or paws) are soft, bright yellow.
Her talons are made of hard plastic. She measures from top of head to tip of her feathered tail at 26 inches.
Her wing span is 27 1/2 inches across. Her paws/ claws are approximately 3 inches. She is sturdy with no rips, missing pieces, or bald spots. This Griffin is made to be more of a cute, cuddly little creature. I used her for display on my tall hutch where she patrolled the living room. She has never been played with. She is definitely an original.
There is no other Griffin like her.
