LESTAT DE LIONCOURT was a breathtaking addition to the Paul Crees and Peter Coe vampire series, created in collaboration with novelist Anne Rice, and inspired by her literary series, the Vampire Chronicles. This very rare Lestat de Lioncourt doll is HAND-SIGNED by Paul Crees on the nape of his neck, HAND-NUMBERED, and HAND-DATED 1998.

He is composed primarily of hand-painted wax with a soft body. He is approximately 26 inches tall. Lestat was produced in a very small edition of ONLY 25 pieces. He is numbered #1 of 25!

This OOAK version of Lestat is depicted in a stunning red silk riding outfit, which distinguishes this piece from the more widely produced vinyl Lestat doll (LE 50) by Crees and Coe. This special edition Lestat also dons a red silk, fur-lined cape and leather boots.

Lestat's ethereal, yet harrowing, presence is almost palpable in this fine example of Crees and Coe's doll artistry. A must-have collectible for fans of Anne Rice's novels. EXCELLENT, preowned condition to no cracks, chips, or cosmetic damage.

His ensemble is free of any damage, stains, or foul odors. He includes a custom wood stand.

Signed CoA, hangtag, and all other paperwork are also included. Paul Crees and Peter Coe were contemporary British doll artists who worked as a team to create magnificent, limited-edition wax dolls in the tradition of Victorian doll makers. Both had a background in theater and their dolls show this, having a very dramatic presence and more often than not a theatrical theme. Their celebrity art doll likenesses, costumed as they were in parts from famous movies or operas, were award winning.

In addition to the wax pieces they created in studio, their series of vinyl dolls based on Anne Rice's novels brought their unparalleled creativity and dramatic flair to a popular audience. Do not pass up your chance to make an offer on this special edition Lestat doll today. Please reach out with any questions, or reasonable offers.
