Welcome to A Century of Dolls. DESCRIPTION: What can I say about Peter Wolf his art work and talent for many years when he came to the USA from Germany to Toy Fair each year. He passed away at the young age of 59 only a few years ago. He was such a talent and such a good spirit.

This is one of his amazing art works a great rarities that he made in very limited numbers. These moving mechanism called are called automatons. This OOAK is The Puppeteer girl is a 16th century figure that Peter created. This automaton arms move up and down with the puppet in her hands and her head moves also.

The turning mechanism is in the base of that she stands on. She is dressed in fine antiques trims and metallic lace.

Peter created a large body of OOAK figures in his years in Germany utilizing the finest of antique fabrics and trims that both he and his mother collected over the years. Each of his figures is dressed in these fine antique trims and metal lace. Each one of a kind Art Sculpture by Peter is a treasure to behold.

Peter worked in Fimo a hand molded resin clay that looks so lifelike when molded, so it is the perfect medium to create art figures that look so realistic. The details in the character faces of his sculptures is amazingly real. Also his figures are posable the arms and legs usually can be posed to make them look like they are alive. Each figural art sculpture has the Peter Wolf COA tag.
