She feels just like a newborn when you hold her at 18 inches and 5.6 lbs. She wears preemie cloths, and newborn diapers, which I will send with her. Her platinum silicone is very soft you wont believe she is just a doll. Her head flops side to side if you dont take care to help her hold it up, just like a newborn.

She looks and feels as if she is an actual neborn just dreaming away. Her skin is so soft, and her chunky little body feels real to the touch. She has all of the cuteness of a newborn without all of the fuss! Her pictures don't do her justice!

Journey was created by real artists to look and feel like a real life baby. She has veins, and capularies, coloring, so real you will struggle to tell the difference. Many people calling their full body silicone baby's a "reborn" only use the name to over price their doll. Then, when u actually recieve the baby, it's shiny and plastic or sticky and peels.

It doesnt look, or feel like a real reborn baby at all. Journey is not plastic, and she is created with the softest marshmallow silicone available. I CAN SEND WITH HER THE PHOTOS OF EVERY STAGE OF HER CREATION showing all the hard work that comes with painting and rooting a real FBS reborn baby, in order to bring her to life. After 6 coats of perfect paint, she is then matted down. The purpose of this is to keep your doll from getting sticky and holding on to hair and dirt and dust. Her matting process is permenant, but you will get more matte to upkeep her so that she keeps her baby soft and true to life feeling skin! You can bath her, and hold her, and pose her for cute baby photos.

Her hands are closed like most real newborns, but the don't look or feel any less real! She is squishy and chunky from head to toe, and is best for children old enough to actually take care of their dolls. That's before it ever sees a paint brush or art room! There are no seams on Grumpy, as she was poured in one piece, and with only the highest grade and quality silicone meant specifically for this doll. Once her Artist has the order she then begins the process of painting her to look real.

This takes many very light coats of paint and a very specific process to create all the little blue and pink hues (from veins and other REAL baby markings) that a real newborn has! Once all the coats of paint are on, she is allowed to dry for a few days, and then prepped for matting which is a very important process.

If its not done correctly your masterpiece could be ruined and your baby could quickly fall apart. Journey was birthed by professionals who create ACTUAL "Full Body Silicone REBORN babies", and not the cheap knock-offs u will see from cosdolls or Vita's, and other copy cats that have tainted the reborn world by flooding mass produced, cheap knockoffs with seams, marks on the head where they filled with fluid instead of creating them with REAL silicone, and poor paint jobs, and they have insulted the art of actual artists by attempting to cheapen the molds they steal of actual FBS dolls that were sculpted by artists. REAL REBORN dolls cannot be reproduced and are all painted by a professional artist, not a machine. Luckily they never got a grumpy mold, so she doesn't HAVE A "cheap knock-off version" and her mold hasnt been tainted with cheap rubber, and bad off colour dolls floating around. You CANNOT and will not find another Grumpy doll ANYWHERE!

She is truly One of a kind! GRUMPY remains untainted, specially poured, painted, rooted and "birthed" by actual artists. And if u didn't know the artist, u couldn't get one.... This is a great deal, and altho I will consider reasonable offers, I won't be giving her away for much less than what I gave a year ago to have her specially made. She is worth every penny.
