Newborn 0-3 size real baby clothing. Evenly weighted to approx 5lb (2.26kg). 3/4 arms and full length legs - soft cloth body.

Detachable gender neutral chest/tummy plate. Alfie has been created from the Aofie sculpt by Phil Donnelly. I have enjoyed painting and creating this baby, I decided to call him Alfie but I have used a gender neutral chest/tummy plate so gender can be swapped if preferred.

Just to note his hands are a little more pink than I would normally paint but further true to life pictures of Alfie can be viewed via Facebook and Instagram (I do not use filters on my pictures and pictures are taken in natural window light). Its taken me several weeks to complete Alfie using many thin layers of Genesis HS paints to build up his detailed skin tones, he has tipped and sealed nails, painted eyebrows and lightly varnished lips and used "I art Dewy" to create a slightly textured skin finish. I have given Alfie a chest/tummy plate, this is gender neutral and shows only to his lower tummy, this is not a fixed feature and can be detached and attached using the ribbon to tie. I have hand rooted Alfies hair using "LoutraisMohair" in baby brown, this is my favourite Mohair to use, its so soft, easy to work with and easy to take care of. This is sealed inside so you will be able to gently wash and brush but you must be careful. I have directionally rooted his hair as I wanted to experiment with something a little different and gave him a centre parting. Alfie has BIG blue eyes which I just love they have been fitted and sealed inside and I have rooted him some lower lashes but used specially made lashes for his top lid, as I prefer this look on him as I really wanted his eyes to pop bright. I have evenly weighted Alfie to approx 5lbs using crushed glass and fibre fill, he has a floppy head and floppy 3/4 arms , when you pick him up he will need supporting like a real baby. I have used a high quality soft cloth body with 3/4 jointed arms and full front loading legs, his arm joint will turn in any positon and I have allowed his legs to be able to turn for posing.

You must hold Alfie like a real baby, when picking him up you should scoop him under his arms supporting his head and bottom at all times, Alfie is floppy and must be handled correctly. I have fitted a magnet inside his head so he can hold his magnetic dummies/pacifiers to his mouth.

(strong magnets are unsafe to be used around pacemakers, please message me if you would need these removing). I design my dolls to be great for holding and cuddling Alfie size is perfect for the feeling of cradling a baby in your arms.

If you are considering adopting Alfie for a younger collector please keep in mind that Alfie is "Baby Art" he contains small parts and MUST be handled correctly. Alfie will come home with a full box opening. Which will include items shown. Top and bottoms bear outfit. Care details + scan photo + Birth certificate.
