ORIGINAL ONE OF A KIND HAND SCULPTED CLOTH AND CLAY DOLL. Edom is an original, one of a kind folk art doll. His face is hand sculpted with paper clay, and intricately painted and antiqued to look vintage.

He is styled to mimic dolls from the Civil War era. His outfit is created specifically for him out of antiqued and vintage linens. His bag is filled with handmade newspaper clippings speaking about Abolition, and he is carrying a small Bible with hand-written verses inside.

He also carries a quill pen and scarp paper as he practices writing. Edom is teaching himself to read and write in secret so that he can experience the liberty of knowledge that literacy brings.
