VINTAGE 1975 sculpted OOAK artist MARY DOLL GYPSY Victorian PEASANT rare 11

  

Vintage 1975 one-of-a-kind artist doll by Mary. Presented here is a very rare vintage one-of-a-kind handmade doll by Mary.

She stands a little over 11 tall. The doll is sculptured, looks like an un-fired bisque, the delicate features are precisely hand painted, the hair I believe is made of dipped threads, it falls in loose curls down her back. The clothes are cloth, all handmade, they are dipped so they are firm but not fired. The skirt is purple with embroidery, the blouse is white with perfect pleats around the neck and ruffles on the cuffs of the short puff sleeves.

A pink pleated petticoat peeks out from underneath the skirt. She has a purple scarf with a fine. Edge around her hair and wears gold chain necklaces with hoop earrings which are real metal. She stands securely on the base which is hand signed by Mary. Excellent condition, no notable damage.
