Vintage Artisan Miniature Dollhouse Jacqueline Polier French Porcelain Doll OOAK. This is a captivating vintage, artisan handmade, porcelain Victorian style dollhouse doll made by the famed French doll artist, Jaqueline Polier. She is signed on the inside of her dress and dated 1989.

She has a beautiful, feminine quality to her face with hand painted features including big blue eyes. Her brunette hair is styled up in curls.

Her head and arms are jointed. She is dressed in the palest blush pink all-silk gown with puffed sleeves. Delicate silver metallic thread embroidery dances across the fabric, while a rosette sash cinches her waist. A special doll for the serious doll collector. THIS DOLL HAS TRAVELED THOUSANDS OF MILES JUST TO BE HERE...

This fabulous miniature doll belonged to, Madame'Y', who lives in Kanagawa, Japan. For many years I have enjoyed a friendship with Madam Y. Her love of miniatures and her vast knowledge of artisans was something that we enjoyed talking about. Over the years I watched in awe as her collection continuously grew, she even had to expand her beautiful home on the sea just to house her collection of some of the finest miniatures in the world. When she decided to sell her collection, she contacted me so that I could tell her story and the story of each piece she has acquired, over all these years.

Her hope is to find a home and share the story of every single piece. We have just begun to receive the boxes, all wrapped so well as they were all very special to her. She wanted others to know these incredible artisans, many she has met in person, from countries all over the globe and it is her hope that you will get to know them too, as we list them one by one. We thank Madame Y for trusting us, it is an honor to share them with others who love artisan miniatures as much as we do. 1:12 scale 5.5 tall.
