Vintage Hand Made Christmas SANTA. One of a kind # 258. Made by Doll-maker Connie Masten.

Doll is made to sit, he will sit nicely on a shelf or chair. I have him sitting on a box for the pictures.

Long red wool cardigan sweater with cape. Holding a basket of Holiday greens in one hand and a wooden sled in the other. There is one speck of missing color on Santas nose, see picture 11.

Signed by the artist Connie Masten 1995 on his back. Made in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Just a note, Connie Masten, as seen on Early American Life, does all her own work and is an avid knitter. The tag on this Santa says the knitted design is 19th century from Dalarna, Sweden.
