I make one of a kind sculptures of your pet or any animal in needle felted wool. The wool I use is all natural fiber and each animal is made with love.

I use your photos and ask for your approval in choices during the process to be sure your sculpture is exactly how you want it to be. Needle felting is a process using hand held barbed needles to make tiny tangles in roving wool fibers, slowly creating a denser and denser material called felt. Slowly, the piece takes form and the artist develops the shapes, colors and nuances of the.

I use all wool in my sculptures including the eyes and nose. I do not insert plastic for the eyes or noses.

Legs, paws, wings and larger pet sculptures have wire armatures inside to make them more sturdy. They are not toys, though. So, they mustn't be played with by children.

Each one is obviously one of a kind, but more importantly, it is a personal representation of your pet or the animal you want created. This is example was done for a customer who wanted a dog that looked like Toto. He requested a playful whimsical depiction of the beloved scruffy Terrier from the Wizard of Oz and Toto was affixed to a spring to give her a bouncy animation.
